How Anti-Wrinkle Injections Work

Anti-wrinkle injections use a purified protein to temporarily relax the muscles responsible for dynamic expression lines — the kind caused by frowning, squinting and smiling over time. By reducing repetitive muscle movement, the skin above smooths out and, with regular treatment, is less likely to develop deeper lines.

Results begin to show within 3–5 days, with the full effect visible at two weeks. Most patients return every 3–4 months to maintain their results, though this varies by individual.

At Geometry Clinic we use two trusted, licensed brands: Botox (Allergan) and Nuceiva (Evolus). Dr. Lana will recommend the most appropriate option based on your anatomy and goals.

We dose for your face. There is no standard amount. Dr. Lana assesses your muscle strength, facial movement, skin quality and what you want to achieve before deciding how and where to treat. The same forehead can require completely different doses in two different patients.

We include a complimentary two-week review with every treatment. If any area needs a small adjustment once the product has settled, we take care of it at no charge.

What to Expect

Consultation 

Dr. Lana will assess your facial anatomy, discuss your concerns and agree on a treatment plan. There is no pressure and no commitment required at this stage.

Treatment 

A precise, targeted injection session taking 15–30 minutes. Fine needles are used throughout and discomfort is minimal. Most patients describe it as a slight pinch.

Review 

We invite all patients back at two weeks for a complimentary check. If any fine-tuning is needed, we handle it then.

Aftercare 

You can return to normal activities immediately. We ask that you avoid intense exercise, lying flat, and touching the treated area for 24 hours.

Results and Longevity

First results visible: 3–5 days 

Full effect: 2 weeks
