What is Volformer?
Volformer is an advanced non-surgical rejuvenation protocol that combines two Classys technologies in one treatment:
- Ultraformer MPT: 4th generation HIFU technology that targets deeper structural layers, including the SMAS layer, to lift, tighten, and contour.
- Volnewmer: premium monopolar radiofrequency that works through the dermis to improve firmness, density, elasticity, texture, and skin quality.
Used together, these technologies create a multi-layer lifting effect. Ultraformer MPT works on the deeper foundation of the face, while Volnewmer improves the quality, firmness, and density of the skin envelope.
In simple terms: Ultraformer MPT lifts the structure. Volnewmer refines and densifies the skin. Volformer combines both.
Why Volformer is different
Most non-surgical lifting treatments focus on one layer of the face. Some tighten the skin. Some target deeper tissue. Volformer is different because it addresses both.
It lifts at the deeper level
Ultraformer MPT uses focused ultrasound energy to reach the deeper support layers of the face, including the SMAS. This is the layer traditionally addressed in surgical face lifting, but Ultraformer MPT stimulates it non-surgically, with no incisions and no recovery period.
It improves skin density and quality
Volnewmer uses controlled monopolar RF energy to heat the dermal and sub-dermal layers while protecting the skin surface with continuous water cooling. Volnewmer
Volnewmer is a premium monopolar RF treatment developed by Classys. It operates at 6.78 MHz and delivers controlled radiofrequency energy to the deeper dermal layers, while continuous water cooling protects the skin surface and improves comfort.
Volnewmer is known for its skin-densifying and volumising effect. Instead of simply tightening the skin, it helps improve collagen and elastin renewal so the skin looks firmer, smoother, and more resilient.

- Volnewmer targets skin quality, density, firmness, and collagen remodelling.

Volformer is an emerging international combinatiocn protocol. At present, the strongest scientific support comes from published clinical studies on the two component technologies, Volnewmer monopolar RF and Ultraformer MPT HIFU, plus wider research on combining high-intensity focused ultrasound with monopolar radiofrequency for skin tightening.
Evidence for Volnewmer monopolar RF
Published clinical research on Volnewmer has shown measurable lifting and skin quality improvement after treatment with 6.78 MHz monopolar radiofrequency.
A 2024 study published in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Global Open evaluated the VolNewMer device in 30 Korean women using 3D scanner analysis across five facial aesthetic units. The study reported significant lifting immediately after treatment and at 1 month, including mean neck lifting of 2.66 mm immediately and 2.80 mm at 1 month. Another 2024 study assessed continuous water-cooling 115-watt 6.78 MHz monopolar RF therapy for fine wrinkle reduction and reported improvement in skin roughness immediately after treatment, with sustained improvement at 1 month. Evidence for Ultraformer MPT HIFU
Ultraformer MPT has also been studied using objective 3D analysis to assess lifting effects across facial aesthetic units.
A 2024 study published in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Global Open evaluated Ultraformer MPT in 50 patients and reported measurable lifting across seven facial zones, including the jowl, mandible, posterior cheek, and neck. The authors reported mean lifting of 2.90 mm in the jowl, 3.10 mm in the mandible, and 3.55 mm in the neck. Evidence for combining HIFU and monopolar RF
The logic of Volformer is supported by studies investigating combination therapy using HIFU and monopolar RF. These studies are not Volformer-branded trials, but they support the principle of combining deeper ultrasound-based lifting with radiofrequency-based skin tightening.
A 2024 retrospective study in the Malaysian Journal of Medical Sciences evaluated HIFU plus monopolar RF combination therapy in 56 patients. The study reported clinically significant improvement on the Global Aesthetic Improvement Scale in 96.4% of patients, with transient erythema as the main side effect and no serious adverse events reported. Both sequences produced clinical improvement with minimal side effects, and monopolar RF followed by HIFU showed slightly better wrinkle reduction on 3D analysis.
